I have been craving peanut butter as soon as I wake up for the last few days. Today’s craving was cured with peanut butter toast with a little ground flax sprinkled on top. Half a grapefruit drizzled with agave nectar. And a refreshing glass of knock-off emergen-c.
I didn’t pack a lunch today because I knew we either had free lunch Friday at the office or that I’d go out for a bite with co-workers. Turns out it was the one Friday a month that we get free lunch, but me and a few other co-workers decided we wanted to go get pizza instead.
I began lunch with a garden salad followed by a giant slice of pineapple and jalapeno pizza.
I didn’t take pictures of my lunch because I still haven’t told everyone I work with that I have a blog. Might have been a little odd if I’d just whipped out my camera for a quick photo shoot with my pizza and no real preface behind my crazy act…don’t you think? ;)
Is that weird that I haven’t said anything to my co-workers? It’s not that I don’t want them to know, I just sorta assume they wouldn’t be all that interested.
It’s also not that I haven’t said anything. I once mentioned it to two of my co-workers but they never brought it up again so neither did I. I guess it’s just one of those personal things that I’m sort of shy about. Funny how I’m shy about some things yet I have this blog where I’ll talk about it. :)
After work I met Chris for a few drinks at his office happy hour. From there we went to our usual Friday dinner spot, La Fonda. Something about Friday just equals chips and salsa in our minds.
